A powerful enemy is on the hunt for Rush after exiling her from her pack, an enemy that seeks to control her, to take away her survival; an enemy that should never have existed: Love.
A pack of African Wild Dogs, one of the last of their kinds, live on the wide Tanzanian plain. Rush, a particularly rebellious female, has suspicions about the Wild Dog Laws; which are said to have kept wild dog packs alive for centuries. But for Rush there are a lot of things that don't add up, and she has suspicions that the very thing her pack looks up to could actually be their downfall. Blind to the truth Rush believes in, she takes it into her own paws to free herself from the hold of the law with no regard for the ignorant Leaders, and the prison they continue to set up for her and themselves. This inevitably leads to her banishment, with the Leaders hoping she’ll one day come back, after learning her lesson. The lesson about love; the one thing that THEY say keeps the pack together and yet, for Rush, is a contradiction onto survival itself.
Rush sets out with a new thrill to conquer her own survival while her pack mates are left to deal with terrifying circumstances of their own, while Rush sets off on a journey to determine the secrets of becoming the most powerful creature on earth: a creature that can even summon the stars. Without anyone even knowing it, Rush throws her own pack into danger time and time again through miles of distance as she challenges the humans for the title.
Join Rush and her pack on the adventure of a lifetime, braving the plights of life while trying to figure out the best way to survive. Is survival of the fittest the best course of action, or is love as powerful as they say: able to break even through the chains of death?
